If anyone is interested, I have some bras for sale on Bratabase. I would prefer to manage the transactions through Bratabase itself because I agree with the owner that it’s nice when the bras remain in-network for research purposes. So hop on over there and check it out. And if you don’t have an account, make one! US shipping costs are included in all of the prices. I can ship worldwide, but I may need to add a shipping cost. All payments through Paypal.
Here’s what I’m selling (my reviews are linked if I wrote one):
One week until Christmas! I have so much stuff to do! I’m super behind schedule! Which is why you guys are getting a holiday wishlist at an incredibly late date. I honestly don’t know if anyone can still ship this stuff by next Wednesday without expensive rush fees. Sorry about that. But, hey, New Years gifts are nice, too!
First up, the Angie set from Masquerade.

Reminiscent of Parfait’s Charlotte, with those black stripes, but in a deeper (and fancier, in my opinion) red. Less “cheesecake,” more “opulence.” Not that there’s anything wrong with cheesecake; you know how I love my Charlotte. Angie balconette available in 28-38 D-H, briefs and thong in 8-18.
Today in Things That Have Nothing To Do With Bras, I just want to brag about my little girl. Because I can. I don’t talk about my children too much on the blog because of general security concerns. And, well, basically I don’t want their online images to be heavily associated with a lingerie blog. But both of my children are a huge part of my life and I love them more than anything, so occasionally bragging is in order.
There she is, standing dramatically in the rain. Yeah, she’s a monkey.
Hi, you guys! I know I’ve been MIA for a couple of weeks, but I’m back now. Today I have some basic lingerie gifting advice for you, and a preview of some stuff that I’ll be reviewing soon.
If anyone was wondering, it turns out that what I went to the ER for was just a really bad stomach bug. Which is, to be honest, still hanging around (or has exasperated my slight IBS) but I don’t have to live in the bathroom anymore. So…yay!
Welp, I slept (and puked) all day and I’m writing this from the ER where I’m getting fluids and pain meds for what is hopefully just a stomach virus. I might be taking a few days off from blogging. Just wanted to keep you guys updated!
Seriously, I cannot stand being cold. Cannot. Stand. It. Unfortunately, I live in Pennsylvania, and about five minutes away from Lake Erie, at that. What that means is that it’s pretty much a guarantee that I’ll be cold for the next four to six months.
This is why my sinuses are always angry.
One of the ways that I cope with this miserable weather is by spending a lot of my at-home time wrapped up in a cozy robe. Well, that and copious amounts of hot coffee. My current robes (yes, plural) are getting a little threadbare so I’ve been doing some Internet browsing. I present you with four snuggle-up-in-able robes that I’ve found.
This is the second size of this bra that I’m reviewing. Even though neither size is a great fit, I want to use these reviews to show sister sizing in action.
That color is not accurate...flash problems...
Before I took the pictures for this review I would have told you this bra is a much better fit than the 34E that I reviewed last month. Theoretically, a 34E and a 32F should have the same cup volume. The 32F feels like exactly the same fit, but with a tighter band. Turns out, that’s not true.
That’s how I feel right now. Blah. It’s snowing here. The weather is killing my sinuses. It’s also messing with my mood. I have some depression-type-stuff, and the yearly switch to cold weather always kind of messes with that. Plus, you know, holiday stress…just blah.
Last month there was a review on Venusian Glow for a bra from a company that I hadn’t heard of before. This is the bra:

How beautiful is that? It’s the Tiffany balconette from Wiesmann Lingerie. Turns out that Wiesmann is a smaller Polish lingerie company, and even Eternal*Voyager from Venusian Glow hadn’t heard of them. And she’s been blogging about bras way longer than I have. Her review is favorable, so I decided to see what else Wiesmann has to offer. Continue reading
So, it has recently come to my attention that December is one of the months that my husband doesn’t get a commission check at work. Which means that my whole holiday shopping game plan has gone down the tubes, and I’m having a bit of a panic about it. This is the part where I need help, you guys! I have a lot of loved ones that need gifts, and not much money to do it with. I don’t want this
to be everyone’s gift.
Don’t worry, I’m not asking you to fund my Christmas shopping*; I just need some ideas. I’ve been practically living on Pinterest**, trying to hunt down some inexpensive DIY gift ideas. There’s an awful lot of cookie-in-a-jar stuff to weed through. Which, you know, that’s fine and everything, but I’m looking to kind of level up from that. Here’s a few that I’ve found so far.
