About

Hi! I’m Missy, and I’m really bad at writing introductions about myself! I’m 30 years old, I’m married, and I’m currently a stay-at-home mother of two. A few months ago I stumbled upon the world of proper bra fitting by the way of a bunch of different lingerie blogs. I don’t even remember how I ended up there, but I’ve become rather passionate about the topic. So I decided to start a blog of my own. I figure it’ll save my friends and family (and strangers on the street) from constant lectures about how their bras are wrong 🙂

There are currently a ton of amazing blogs and websites fighting the good bra fight. Some of them are listed as links on the sidebar or the main page and/or under Resources. There are a lot more that I either haven’t read yet or haven’t even found yet. I decided to start my own because breasts and bodies come in all shapes and sizes, and I have come across very few bra bloggers that match my own shape and size. (Disclaimer: there are a few that are at least close; Dezi at A Sophisticated Pair comes to mind off the top of my head. I’m sure there are others, and if you know of any, please tell me!) There are actually reviewers I read because I know that if they hate a bra I’ll probably love it, and vice versa. Not because they write bad reviews, but because we just have different bodies. So basically I just want to represent for women (or men) who have bra needs that are similar to mine.

What is my shape and size, you ask? Since I’m blogging about very size-specific items of clothing, I’m going to lay that all out.

That’s me waving “hello.” I’m 5’7″ tall. I weight about 165 pounds. I’m roughly a US size 10. In the boobage? My underbust measurement is a tick over 33 inches, my bust is 38 1/2 inches standing and 41 inches bent over. On most reputable size calculators that puts in a bra size of 34E (US 34DDD). I have a bit of pudge around my ribs, though, and my breasts are soft and (I think) somewhat shallow, so I tend to be more comfortable in a 32E or a 30F. I plan to blog about why exactly that is in the future.
